Maggie grew up designing interiors with her Mom and rebuilding vintage Mustangs with her Dad, and this room is the comedically cute culmination of her childhood that she can now share with her son. At the starting line, a hood-shaped window valance with red racing stripes that speed across the ceiling for a custom paint job, while a classic American stars carpet provides the perfect track. The vintage gold crib was the inspiration for the metallic millwork and is beautifully balanced with warm leathery browns and accented with race car reds and ‘Bentley blues’. The reading nook with vintage car print wallpaper is the perfect spot for a pit-stop, made comfy with pillows in suedes and stripes and of course, a secret trunk for toy storage.
