Functional Fun

The living room is the space in my own home where I want a lighthearted expression of all that is the happiness of family life as we raise our young children— no pretension, just play!

To convey that sense, I created a bright and cheerful southern aesthetic with a few feminine florals and a pretty pastel palette that I carried through to the open kitchen. Throughout the room, I designed many practical storage solutions for toys and crafts and of course, performance fabrics that can withstand the wear and tear from two rowdy boys. We believe in creating beauty without boundaries.

This decor is also designed to easily and inexpensively transform as our taste evolves, seasons change, and trends pass. We pull the summer linen floral print pillows in lieu of richer velvets for the Fall; simply switch the homemade artwork from the walls as we make new masterpieces; and a fresh throw whenever the wind blows!
