Crib & Cattle For A Cowboy Kid

For a boy named in honor of the great pioneer, trapper, and mountain man, Jim Bridger, a cowboy themed nursery only seemed appropriate!

This room represents a beautiful balance of each of the parents’ visions as it effortlessly combines Dad’s love for the mountains of Montana with playful nods to Mom’s cherished Charleston coastline.

This room also captures Maggie’s creativity, commitment to customization, and ability to project personality throughout her designs. Many pieces in the room, such as the window valances and crib accents, were handmade by Maggie. She also sourced a Charleston based pattern designer and collaborated with her to customize this masculine yet playful western print. The art throughout the room is by Maggie’s favorite Southern artist, Teil Duncan, another hint of Charleston. Always practical, the room is designed to easily and inexpensively grow with the child (should crusaders become the new cowboys).

This tremendous labor of love transformed this sweet space into a one-of-a-kind nursery— from East to West, adventures await this cowboy kid in every direction of his room.
